The therapy itself uses guided relaxation techniques from a trained Therapist that invoke feelings of intense relaxation, concentration and/or focus to achieve a heightened state of awareness or trance-like state. The therapy is commonly used as an aid to Psychotherapy due to the relaxed nature brought on by the hypnotic state that allows people to explore painful & suppressed feelings and emotions or memories that are often hidden from their conscious minds.
This form of therapy is considered alternative medicine with the purpose of utilizing one’s mind to help reduce or alleviate a variety of issues, such as psychological distress, phobias, and unhealthy, destructive, or dangerous habits (i.e. smoking and/or drinking). The aim of hypnotherapy is to create a positive change in an individual, while he/she is in a state of unconsciousness or slumber (sleep).

Regression therapy is an approach to treatment that focuses on resolving significant past events believed to be interfering with a person’s present mental and emotional wellness. It is primarily developed out of the theories and techniques of hypnotherapy and psychoanalysis , with their emphasis on rediscovering details of past events in order to solve current conflicts and emotions.
The three levels of consciousness recognised in regression therapy:
- The conscious mind, which represents the thoughts a person is aware of having
- The subconscious mind, which represents emotions, habits, and instincts a person is unaware of having
- The superconscious mind, also known as the spirit, soul, or higher element of a person, may provide a model for how that person wants to think or act in the world

TRANSPERSONAL REGRESSION THERAPY
Neuro means relating to the nervous system. Our neurological functioning is influenced by the information we take in through our senses. The more accurately we take in information: the better we listen, the more observant we are, and the the more open we are to our own and others’ feelings, the better information our brain has to make decisions and furthermore, to communicate more effectively.
Linguistic is about language. The more we understand and are aware of language – the words themselves, together with their structure, and the way they’re spoken (speed, voice tone, rhythm) so the more information we have when making decisions and communicating consciously and unconsciously.
Programming here refers to habits. We develop habits, some useful, some less useful. NLP teaches us how we can develop and encourage useful habits and reduce less useful habits.

SYSTEMIC FAMILY CONSTELLATIONS
Systemic Family Constellation is a therapeutic method which draws on elements of family system therapy, existential phenomenology and isizulu beliefs and attitudes to family.
In a single session, a Family Constellation attempts to reveal an unrecognised dynamic that spans multiple generations in a given family and to resolve the deleterious effects of that dynamic by encouraging the subject, through representatives, to encounter and accept the factual reality of the past.
The method has been described by physicists as quantum mysticism, and its founder Bert Hellinger incorporated the speculative idea of morphic resonance into his explanation of it. Positive outcomes from the therapy have been attributed to conventional explanations such as suggestion and empathy.

Your Shadow Self is the echo of your own self, a fragment of you that you’ve forgotten over and is calling your attention and acknowledgement.
In analytical psychology, the shadow archetype is either an unconscious aspect of the personality that the conscious ego does not identify in itself, or the entirety of the unconscious, i.e., everything of which a person is not fully conscious. In short, the shadow is the unknown side.
We were all at one time children. And the child you once were did not just up and vanish, to be replaced by a perfectly formed, always responsible adult.
Indeed, most of us act very much like children at least now and then. And some of us, if we had a tough or loveless childhood, are actually children most of the time. We might look like an adult, but inside is an angry self who trusts no one and is secretly calling the shots.
In psychology, this part of your unconscious manifests as a sort of ‘other personality’ in social interactions, is often referred to as the ‘shadow self’.

Integrative Healing Approach is a holistic treatment plan which encompasses the four factors mind, soul, spirit and body & its theory is based in the theology that in order to have a successful recovery one must be “healed” in all four areas.
It focuses on the interactions among the brain, mind, body, and behavior, and the powerful ways in which emotional, mental, social, spiritual, and behavioral factors can directly affect health. It regards as fundamental an approach that respects and enhances each person’s capacity for self-knowledge and self-care, and it emphasizes techniques that are grounded in this approach.

Subconscious Mind defines all reactions and automatic actions we become aware of, only if we think about them. Your subconscious mind is a powerful force to be reckoned with. It makes up around 90% of your brain power. The remaining 5% of your brain, the conscious mind, as the sole purpose of interacting with the physical world.
Our subconscious mind is not, however, totally silent but it reaches out to the conscious parts of our psyche in a number of different ways. We need to equip ourselves with tools to easily communicate with it.
